CITY HOSTS ENTERPRISE ZONE BREAKFAST PROGRAM A Program to Help Businesses Keep More of What They Earn The City of Santa Clarita will host a free Enterprise Zone Breakfast Program on Tuesday, August 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at City Hall’s first floor Century Room. The informational workshop will include a complimentary continental breakfast and provide local business with information on how to reduce their State Income Tax. A representative from the City’s Economic Development Division will facilitate the program. The City of Santa Clarita will begin the first of 12 large concrete pours for the Golden Valley Road Bridge, the final link in the Cross Valley Connector, this Friday, August 9. The pour will begin at 4 a.m. and is expected to last until 2 p.m. The Golden Valley Road Bridge is scheduled for completion in March 2010. The 8 ½ mile Cross Valley Connector is the City’s major road project to ease traffic valley-wide through the seamless connection of Newhall Ranch Road and Golden Valley Road. The Connector will also provide a direct connection between the I-5/SR-126 and the SR-14/Golden Valley Interchange.
